What type of operating system are you using? (select one)
Please look at the SmartKey (USB key) that you received, it will be indicated on the key, to know whether you should download the software for the eToken or iKey.
eToken :
Quick Start Guide for PC (eToken)
Software:
Download the eToken Run Time Environment 4.0 (Windows 32-bit)
Download the eToken Run Time Environment 4.0 (Windows 64-bit)
iKey :
Quick Start Guide for PC (ikey 3000)
Software, you need download 2 packages:
First Software: Download Rainbow Ikey Driver 3.4.7 (USB Drivers)
Second Software: (Note: the iKey model number (2000 or 3000) is indicated on the token itself.)
For iKey 2000 (uncommon): Download IKey 2000AS
For iKey 3000: Download SafeSign-Standard-2.0.3
In order to view screeners on SmartJog, you need to have Flash Player 9 (from Version 9.0.28) installed.
Get the latest Flash Player
Install the security certificate on your
browser to give you access to SmartJog services.
- Download the certificates from:
->ftp://smartjog:smartjog@ftp.smartjog.net/sj-root-ca_2008.zip - Depending on your computer, follow the following directions for the next step:
-> PC: Tools > Options > Advanced tab > Encryption section > Click on View certificates > go to the Authorities tab > Click on Import
-> Mac: Preferences > Advanced > View Certificates > Authorities => Import
- Browse and select the sj-root-ca.pem file from .zip you just downloaded and click Select
- Check Trust this CA to identify web sites and click OK
- Scroll on the list until finding SmartJog to check it is installed correctly
- Click on OK and then OK. Any certificate generated by SmartJog is now trusted
From version 6- Download the certificates from:
-> ftp://smartjog:smartjog@ftp.smartjog.net/sj-root-ca_2008.zip - Go to Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > Click on Certificates
- Go to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab > Click on Import > Next
- Browse and select the sj-root-ca.crt file from the .zip that you just downloaded and click Next
- Select the following: Place all certificates in the following store and browse for trusted Root certification Authorities (if not already displayed), click on Next
- Click on Finish and then click on Yes for validation
- The import should be successful. Scroll down the list until SmartJog root certification authority to check that import was ok, click on Close
